So, this is my latest page. I have found this new site called CSI: Color,Stories, Inspiration...and I love the concept. They give you a color palette and a few "guidelines" for the weekly challenge. There are choices, so whatever your strength you can grow from it or try new things too!

The colors for this "case file" :) were dark grey, pink, lime green, red, and violet. I added distressing, and an envelope for my journaling. The journaling is where we tell the story. There are options for that too. I chose to fold a letter in an envelope for Sara to have forever.

I wrote about our family of dancers, including her great grandmothers. I shared my love for dancing and how once I became a mommy I stopped...and really missed it! Her big sister Stephanie LOVED to dance and was always watching my old videos and asking me to teach her new moves! She was also drilling me to take dance classes again like she was. Well, Stephanie died in 2008 and I promised her I would dance again; and I did. In September 2009 I started taking classes at a local studio.

In June 2011 Sara had her first recital...and I had my third! But it was our first one together!!! This is one of my all time favorite pictures and now that I got to share the story about dancers i our family...it means even more to me. And, I know Sara will treasure it forever.
